The clay may arrive hardened as water naturally dries over time. Simply soak it in water for a few hours (equal volume of water to clay) and it will soften, ready to be applied for repairs.

Usage Instructions

  • Dip the clay lump in a bowl of water for 2–3 hours
  • Ensure water volume is roughly equal to clay volume
  • Once softened, apply directly to cracks inside the tandoor walls
  • Allow to dry before firing the oven again
